Hi! I’m Janet.

I’m the Founder and Executive Director of Thriving Elements, a nonprofit dedicated to creating access and opportunities for underserved, underrepresented girls with long-term 1:1 mentorship in the STEM (Science, Technology, Mathematics, & Engineering) fields. I am an advocate for mentorship, bridging the gender disparity in the STEM fields, funding for higher education, bridging the digital divide, and women in leadership.

My vision is to develop and empower young women in STEM to make a sustainable impact and inspire then next generation of women leaders.

My technology career began as an IT intern at Weyerhaeuser then The Boeing Company after graduating with my Bachelors in Finance and Information Systems. In 2012, I graduated with a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Washington. Shortly, thereafter, in 2013 I joined PwC working in global technology consulting and most of that time in Europe.

Since March 2022, I get to wake up every morning serving a personal mission as a Senior Technical Product Manager for Amazon’s Project Kuiper .
